Therapeutic Vibes was started out of a desire to give her and her family a healthier, more holistic lifestyle while still focusing on products that are aesthetically pleasing. With the goal of creating a therapeutic vibe within her space.
Not only as a Mom, but also as a mental health therapist, I have experienced and observed how common products are impacting mental and physical health. After becoming a Mom, I really started to research and implement products in my life that are free of household chemicals, pesticides, lead and other heavy metals and Phthalates. So, I started looking at labels and reading chemicals within products. I really tried to understand the impact these chemicals played in the rise of mental and physical illnesses and, man, are those statistics scary! A study published in the "American Journal of Psychiatry" found that children exposed to pesticides are at a higher risk for developing mood disorders and behavioral problems. No thanks! I felt hopeless and really struggled to find products that aligned with my values as a consumer, mother and woman. That's why I decided to create Therapeutic Vibes, a curated store where you can feel safe, seen and confident in your purchase.
Along my journey, I recognized that curating a calming home environment is essential for mental health for several reasons: Reduces Stress, Enhances Focus and Productivity, Promotes Better Sleep, Encourages Mindfulness, Boosts Mood, Supports Social Connections, Improves Emotional Regulation, Encourages Healthy Habits, Connection to Nature, Reflects Personal Values. I really noticed that our external space impacts our internal space. I want to have my home full of beautiful pieces that create a calm, therapeutic vibe within my internal world. Creating a calming home environment is a powerful tool for enhancing mental health and physical health. By prioritizing tranquility and comfort, the goal is to cultivate a supportive space that nurtures well-being and resilience in daily life.
